Can other Snapchat users see my location?

If you’ve shared your location with other Snapchat users it will display on their map. With Snap Map, you control which people can see your location using the privacy settings in Snap Map. You get to decide whether or not you want to share your location with 'My Friends,' individual friends or to use 'Ghost Mode' and not have your location shown to anybody.

And not everyone can see your Snap Map. Your location will only be visible to users who are your friends (if you select “My Friends”), or those you’ve specifically allowed (through the “Only These Friends” setting). There is also "Ghost Mode" which lets you know no one can see your location.

Snap Map uses your activity in the app to determine your activity status (awake or asleep). For instance, if the app realizes you haven’t touched Snapchat for a good while, it might label you as “inactive” or “sleeping” on the map. But this is based on activity patterns, not sleep monitoring.
